Gertrude Boamah resigns from Musiga

Madam Gertrude Kafui Boamah has resigned from her position as Chairperson for Arbitration and Disciplinary Committee at MUSIGHA national.

Before her post, Madam Gertrude Boamah was a music educationist and a conductor.

The Arbitration and Disciplinary Committee was set by National Executive Council of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGHA) in line with Article 19.5 of the union’s constitution tasked to investigate cases of indiscipline by members and shall after due consideration recommend appropriate sanctions to the National Executive Committee.

Her resignation letter was received and approved by MUSIGHA’s acting president Bessa Simons

Read the letter below from MUSIGHA’s office

“This is to acknowledge receipt of your resignation letter dated August 2, 2023. The Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGHA) greatly appreciate the leadership you provided for the Arbitration and Disciplinary Committee and the work of the committee.

We wish you all the best in your future endeavors and if our parts happens to cross again, we believe it will be in auspicious circumstance.
