
Ghanaian actress, TV host, and media personality, host of Onua Showtime on Onua Tv, Nana Ama McBrown, born Felicity Ama Agyemang, has taken a strong stance on the importance of financial independence for women before entering marriage.
In a candid revelation, she shared her own journey of success and financial stability prior to her marriage to Maxwell Mawuli Mensah, igniting a discussion on the evolving role of women in modern relationships.
She narrated that her is able to differentiate herself as “wife” and as “businesswoman”.
With her duties as a wife, she explained doing everything possible to make she the house is peaceful and even with her maid, she do cook for her husband if delays set in.
As a businesswoman, her husband do help in managing her affair and signing of contracts when needed.
Speaking to a set of young ladies, Mcbrown proved that despite being renowned for her talents on the screen, her wisdom extends beyond her artistic endeavors.
Addressing a gathering of young women at a seminar, McBrown underscored the necessity of financial self-sufficiency as a prerequisite for marriage in today’s world.
She also added that she had her own house and a graceful career before entering into marriage 12 years ago.
“I had my own house before marrying”, Mcbrown narrate to the ladies.
