My Song “Bless Me” paved way for DJs in central region to play our songs – Spio Jungo

Spio Jungo has made it known to the general public that he paved way for DJs in central region to play his song and that later developed their interest in playing more songs from artistes based in the region.

Explaining how he did it: It all started after the release of “Bless Me” in March, 2011. According to him, he got to know DJs in the region likes to play songs from musicians outside the region and most importantly “hit songs”. This pushed hin to set an agenda as part of promoting the song to get DJs to play the song more.
“It wasn’t easy doing it but at long last, my song did the magic”. Moving from one DJ to another, made contact with presenters Like Young Bee, Always checking up on them got them to realize there are good artistes from the region. Said by Spio Jungo in an interview on Cape Coast based radio station “Kastle FM” with the regular host Akua AJ.

Born Francis Spio Jnr happens to be the Managing Director for Heritage Promotions. Heritage Promotions are the organisers for Central music awards and also well known for organizing other Entertainment related events in Ghana.
