I personally don’t like to attend events here, why?????? – Nana Yaw explains.

Central region is blessed to have many promoters having avail themselves and ever ready to push songs here to reach out to other regions. This has been the agenda and to do this, one promoter who is highly known to be doing the most has a message for Pubs and Restaurant Djs here in the region.

Kenneth Quansah, well known as Nana Yaw or better still “Central Bongo Ideas” has finally reveal his reason for not attending most events in the region. According to him, he always have to fight with Djs to play songs from our artistes here which shouldn’t be the case

“I have to argue with Djs to play our songs because that makes me happy. Infact, am happy when I hear songs from our artistes here. I once had to fight with a Dj at an event because he was playing songs from artistes outside this region, which made me angry. I confronted the Dj to know why is he playing such songs only for the Dj to tell me he is not having songs from our artistes here. I then have to search for USB cord to pull songs from my phone to his laptop”.

This according to him really downed his spirit and decided never to attend events at Pubs and Restaurant again.

He is therefore pleading with our Djs here to play more of our songs here that those from other regions.
