Kofi Kinaata’s ‘Made In Taadi’ Faces Venue Hurdles, Forced to Cancel Again
For the second year in a row, musician and composer Kofi Kinaata has canceled his yearly “Made In Taadi” music event. The main cause of the cancelation, according to his management, was trouble finding an appropriate location.
Finding a new location was difficult when Jubilee Park and Takoradi Technical University Park became unusable. The management promised supporters that they would not give up on finding a long-term solution in spite of this setback, and they pledged to overcome the obstacles in the way of future events.
They said in a statement: “Finding an appropriate location for the event has been difficult as Takoradi Technical University Park and Jubilee Park are no longer accessible. All possible locations for this year’s performance have been warned against it due to the nature of “Made in Taadi,” raising issues that may compromise the security and caliber of the experience for our guests. We would want to reassure our supporters that the management is actively seeking ways to get past this setback going forward.
