Liberian President, President George Weah donates $10K to Christian Atsu’s family

Liberian President George Weah has donated $10,000 to the family of the late football star Christian Atsu who died during the recent earthquake at Turkey
George Weah sent some delegates on his behalf to the family house of Chrisitan Atsu to express his condolences to the family and to the late Black Stars winger on Wednesday.
According to report from our source, the delegation from Liberia was led by Pastor Kwame Ayew, a former Ghanaian footballer to the family house of Christian Atsu.
The death of Christian Atsu has made a lot of nations mourn his demise and has made many feel his absence. The soccer star died tragically in an earthquake in Turkey. Christian Atsu was on the 10th floor of the Renaissance of football team he was playing for in Turkey.
Unfortunately, Atsu lost his life after a 7.8-magnitude earthquake happened on February 2023 which took his life. His remains have been brought to Ghana and have been kept at the 37 Military hospital morgue.
