Nyansapow Educational Awards: Eight Students rewarded at maiden edition.
Nyansapow Educational Awards is an initiative by Nana Kweku Amissah, Nguadohen of Elmina Traditional Council, aimed at providing assistance to best performing candidates for with educational materials for the siting of Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
Motivated by his late Father who was an Educationist and established HollyWood Preparatory School in Elmina, the scheme is set to take a good look into the education system in Elmina, providing help to deserving candidates who will pass their BECE with better grades.
Speaking to wadupgh at the maiden edition of Nyansapow Educational Awards, Nana Kweku Amissah made it known that, 8 benefactors were selected from the divisional circuit in Elmina, taking into consideration their BECE grades.
He used the opportunity to advice parents to take good care of their children during and after schooling activities and make sure they give their all for their children. He also advised the benefactors (Candidates) to take their SHS studies serious so as to excel.
Candidates were presented with bags containing provisions to assist their stay on campus.
