Operation Soft Back Book donates learning materials to school children in Elmina
Operation Soft Back Book founded by Nana Adwoa Kodwuwa II, an African-American Queen Mother at Gwira Akyinim has donated learning materials to school children in the area.
The foundation has been in exitence since 2019.
This being the 5th time, the Queen mother was accompanied by the esteemed Nguadohen of Edina Traditional Area, Nana Kweku Amissah I, to do the donation to the children.
What motivated her to do such?
“After visiting in 2017, I saw the need for each child to have a book and that’s why I founded the “Operation Soft Back Book” and each person in my community (America) donate books and other learning materials to be given to these children.
Rallying support from her incredible community members back in the States, this has been her 5th time doing such donation.
She added ” I pray people around the country will know that these children need these items and help. My Goal is to make sure that each child that need a book or pencil have those items”
She extended her gratitude to her family and friends in the States for always supporting her foundation to do such donations.
The school’s Assistant Headmaster together with the school children express their profound gratitude to Operation Soft Back Book for donating such items to them and prayed for God’s blessing unto the lives of those who gave out something to be donated to them.
