Regarding a conflicting venue for their December shows, Shatta Wale attacks Stonebwoy

“Dancehall King” Shatta Wale has voiced his displeasure at his arch rival Stonebwoy for arranging his yearly concert on the same day as his “Freedom Wave Festival” at the same location.

A five-day festival called “Freedom Wave Festival” will take place in the Accra Sports Stadium from December 20–25, according to Shatta Wale and Medikal.

Days later after their announcement, Stonebwoy also announced his annual end of the year concert on the 22nd of December at the same venue.

Shatta Wale has turned to his Facebook live to voice his unhappiness with the scheduling conflict.

In the video, Shatta Wale claims that he and his crew have been holding meetings to decide what measures to take to ensure the success of their festival.

They were informed of the conflicting dates and asked to vacate the area so that Stonebwoy could have his concert while he (Shatta) and Medikal had theirs the following year.

Additionally, he said that the President’s daughter was responsible for getting Stonebwoy permission to hold his show at the Accra Sports Stadium.
