Stop engaging accounts demanding for money using Kojo Vypa’s name – CheckZone Family
Management of Nana Dawson affectionately known as Kojo Vypa, CheckZone Family has released a report with to a post about someone impersonating their Artistes duping fans of their monies.
According to post seen by a fan who doubles as artiste and a police officer Qhwabyna Yuh Khnow, someone is branding himself with Vypa’s name impersonating him to demand money from fans. His post on Facebook got to the attention of the management thus this press release.

“PUBLIC ANNOUCEMENT
Management of Kojo Vypa and CheckZone Family wants to bring to the notice of the general public that an individual with malice is using the brand name – Kojo Vypa with the intention to
defraud the followers of Kojo Vypa and the general public.
This individual has created a new account on Instagram and Facebook with the brand name
Kojo Vypa, and using this account to send messages to followers of Kojo Vypa and beyond
requesting for money.
We therefore want to alert the general public to help report this account and as well ignore
messages from any account baring the name Kojo Vypa to ask for money in any form using any social media platform and to be mindful of future reoccurrences.
A link to the said account is shared in addition to this letter on all official Kojo Vypa accounts to
ease the process to report this fraudster on both Instagram and Facebook or any other platform
you may encounter such fraudulent acts.
Management would like to apologize to anyone who has fallen victim and promise to do
everything we can to bring those fake accounts down.
