Through the kind benevolence of Daddy Lumba who is celebrating his 58th birthday today, some people from my stock, that is people who passed through my hands and worked with Daddy Lumba, are the following.
Ofori Amponsah as an artiste whom i introduced to Daddy Lumba 30 years ago and recorded this album, “Asew, Odo mmra fie and others with him.
Selina Orleans Lindsay, who was the first artiste i discovered in 1988 and recorded her myself before Ofori Amponsah and i, introduced her to Daddy Lumba. She was in charge of Daddy Lumba’s music shop between 1995 to 2001 when DL and her recorded this album, “Fa woho bo Yesu” here in 2001. She’s now domiciled in the UK ??.
Jeff Quaye (JQ) my first sound engineer that i trained, recorded a number of hit songs for Daddy Lumba and Ofori Amponsah. You can check the list here.
Appietus, the fourth sound engineer that i trained, also recorded with Daddy Lumba the most popular one being “Nana Addo y3 winner” and others.
Daddy Lumba, is the only hilife artiste, that has given a lot of opportunities to some artistes in music recordings and invested in them.
I can name some few here; Felix Owusu , Kwabena Sunkwa, Ofori Amponsah, Ampofowaa, Selina Orleans, Ampong and others.
