Today in 2018: Ghanaian Singer Ebony Reigns Dies In A Car Crash: On February 8, 2018, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, better known by her stage name Ebony Resigns, a talented Dancehall musician from Ghana, went suddenly.

The hitman perished in a horrific vehicle accident on the Kumasi Sunyani Road on their way back to Accra, together with Franky Kuri and Atsu Vondee.

Ebony, also known by her stage moniker “90sBadGyal,” rose to prominence in Ghana’s music scene thanks to her songs and acting.

Her big hits include “Dancefloor,” “Maame Hwe,” “Kupe,” “Poison,” “Date Ur Fada,” “Sponsor,” and “Hustle.”

Just a few days before turning 21, Ebony, who was signed to Bullet’s RuffTown Records, passed away at the age of 20.

The late singer was considered as one of Ghana’s bright future talents, and her passing devastated many people.

She holds the record as the first-ever female to have won the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. The posthumous award was received by her management in 2018.
